Ms. Christina T. Le is currently an Associate Attorney at Liu & Associates, practicing exclusively
immigration and nationality law.

Prior to joining Liu & Associates, Ms. Le was accepted to the U.S. Attorney General Honors Program and
served as Attorney Advisor and Judicial Law Clerk at the Houston Immigration Court, Executive Office for
Immigration Review under the U.S. Department of Justice.  While at the Immigration Court she worked
directly with the Immigration Judges, providing research assistance and advising on legal issues and
potential resolutions of cases in deportation and removal proceedings.  She attended court proceedings,
reviewed applications and testimonies, and analyzed laws, regulations, policies, and precedent decisions
to write legal analyses.  During her term at the Immigration Court, Ms. Le drafted decisions and orders on
more than 200 deportation and removal cases.

Committed to public interest law, while in law school Ms. Le volunteered at various non-profit immigration
organizations.  She served as student attorney, representing clients before the Department of Homeland
Security and the Immigration Court, and successfully helping clients obtain permanent residency and
immigration benefits.  She also wrote appellate briefs to the Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the
Board of Immigration Appeals, which resulted in a recently published opinion by the Board of Immigration
Appeals (BIA).   Ms. Le remains deeply dedicated to pro bono activities and continues to volunteer her
time with Houston-area non-profit organizations.

At the University of Houston Law Center, Ms. Le served as President of the Public Interest Law
Organization and was a recipient of the Law Center’s Distinguished Service Award, the Joseph E. Hensley
Clinic Award, and the Joan Glantz Garfinkel Award for her work on civil liberties.  Motivated by her work
with victims of human trafficking during law school, Ms. Le studied and published a research guide,
The
Exploitation of Women and Children: A Comparative Study of Human Trafficking Laws between the United
States-Mexico and China-Vietnam (GlobaLex, August 2007).  Ms. Le also served as Senior Articles Editor
of the
Houston Business & Tax Law Journal and published the Comment: The Honeymoon’s Over: States
Crack Down on the Virtual World’s Tax-Free Love Affair with E-Commerce, (Hous. Bus. & Tax L.J., Spring
2007).
